SBI to hire 1,500 probationary officers this year to drive business growth
State Bank of India (SBI) is planning to hire 1,500 probationary officers (POs) this year to grow its business.
Out of these, 1,446 are regular posts and 54 are backlog vacancies.

Who can apply?
You must be a graduate in any field
Minimum age should be 21 years (as of April 1, 2026)
Also, SBI hires experienced professionals (like IT experts, legal, risk, data, etc.) for special roles called Specialist Officers, depending on the bank’s needs.
